This is the second review I have put on here. We have been this afternoon and the staff were so nice, we were served by Erin.
The meat was delicious (all of them) and there was a good selection of vegetables. We definitely recommend The Old Mother Redcap

Food was good, but having paid 10.79 for meat free to only get mash, peas and cauliflower we asked for fresh carrots and got told they will be out in a second, wasnt out for at least 20 mins after. Then goes to the bar and ask for ice-cream sundae to get told its broken!

Our server Erinn was lovely. Really attentive and friendly. We visit quite often and apart from a wait sometimes for good, we always enjoy our visits x

Myself and my son have visited several times for the carvery which is always fresh and plenty of choice with different meats and vegetables and is always nice and hot and Amy is always on hand to assist would definitely recommend

Just had the carvery and the food was excellent,the meat was tender and very flavoursome, the vegetables was fresh and the gravy was perfect, we was served by Amy who was very polite and had a lovely welcoming smile

The food was lovely and the meat was very well cooked in a nice way. The chef serving up the meat was so miserable it was like she didn't want to be there. (She was the same last time I visited and i ended up taking my meat back because she gave me all fat) I asked for some stuffing and she said you will have to wait! well I was ready to eat. And when she was free I approached her for my stuffing, she said it's just gone into the oven. The food is good for the price.

Had the buffet breakfast and it was delicious.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Me and my wife have been a few times and have always had a good experience be it just the 2 of us or a party if 20.

We couldn't be bothered to cook tea tonight so visited here , we had the carvery which was lovely , fresh and very filling , served by the lovely lisa and her colleagues , will have to pay another visit soon
